My wife just pulled into the drive about 10 minutes ago and shut down, but the car has some sort of running pump noise coming from the engine compartment. I pulled the engine cover off to try and find the origin of the noise. I thought it had to be the secondary air pump but when I put my hand on it there was no vibration felt. The noise sounds like it is coming from under the A/C pump, but of course that was not running. I'm at a loss, are there other electric run pumps under there?

Wasn't a radiator fan?

It is either the throttle body making noise if it is a 2.0l?

Could be a fan as mentioned, maybe the fan motor is turning and not the actual fan?

Or you really have a 1.8l motor. MANY have mistaken the 1.8 for a 2.0 because on the engine cover there is a big 20, but it is in reference to the 20 valves.
