Yeah I'm just learning the ropes of the forums. It's a pretty powerful tool. The radio code is the only code that comes back after subsequent scans, it's the only code left that's unresolved. I just don't think it's worth digging into any further because as you know as these cars age, sometimes when you go in to fix something you break two more things.

First VCDS run myself and also 00532 air bag code along with the 65535 code and come back after clearing. I have researched extensively but still learning. I realize to fix 65535 the module must be reset or replaced with exact one coded (boy that air bag system is some weird stuff). I ordered the "ebay airbag reset tool" for giggles but want to ask do I need to look into the 00532 battery/charging system first. I think 65535 is hard coded and cannot be cleared but 00532 should be cleared and because it does not I need to fix? The air bag light appeared back when we had stalling and other issue that were resolved by replacing speed sensor. Voltage seem OK here 13.9VDC running and 12.9VDC off. 14.3 VDC direct on alternator so a little loss but seems reasonable. No weirdness on the battery cover fuses or excess heat on alternator wire (was researching ABS light issue) Absolutely no issues starting or anything.

Always, look up trouble codes in the ross tech wiki:

For this one, you might run down to a auto parts store and have them do a full charging system test.

For the alternator charge wire; you might replace it with a new one or make your own:
