Fray/pull in convertible top

Hi,
I just bought a 2006 NB convertible. The top is in almost perfect shape but today I noticed a small fray in the material on the very top. Actually it looks like a "pull" in the fabric. It's not a full-blown tear yet but I would like to know if there is anything I can do to avoid it from becoming one.
Thanks in advance!

I would try Fray Check. I might try it on a less visible location first. We used in a lot in the Marine Corps (tents, uniforms, etc). Sounds funny that a Marine knows about the best sewing supplies, lol, but we are a resourceful group! It dries clear and not shiny.

Thanks! I've read about that product on the forum before and wasn't sure if there wasn't anything else that would work. I will definitely give it a try!
Our local Top Shop has a way of

re-weaving the material. I've seen it done on some other Hartz cloth tops. Not cheap, but virtually un-noticeable when done by a real professional TOP technician.
