So I got this switch as part of a kit and decided not to use it.

It works just fine, and already has the DRL pin bent back. If you want me to straighten it back before shipping to you, just let me know.

$20.00 + Shipping! Think that's too much? Make an offer!

I guess the guy isn't on here much. I PM'ed him when I first saw his post but so far no response. :(
Hi IndyTom,

Sorry about the delay - I've been out of town without internet for a few days and won't be available to ship anything out until Wednesday.

$20.00 shipped is fine. Please Paypal to [email protected]... or you can wait until Tuesday or Wednesday to confirm. Either way is fine.

Thanks,
Peter

Why are you guys so adamant about assuming this is a knockoff?... and to be such jerks about it by hijacking my thread?

It has the VW/Audi logo stamped into the side, and came with a fog light kit that included this switch, fog lights, some mounting hardware, and replacement fog-light plastic surround. Everything has VAG logos, and everything fit beautifully without any "persuasion".

I purchased this kit from nytmar3 on this site, and he advertised it as OEM; and he is a reputable seller on this site.

Swtich arrived! Installed in about 20 seconds and is working flawlessly! Very smooth operation and perfect fit. Not sure where it was made and I really don't care. It works and looks a lot better than my old scratched up one did.
Thanks JUDEE for the great deal and the quick shipping!
I am happy with my purchase! :D
Glad to hear it! :)

Now to get back to my 240SX Forums before my wife realizes I'm impersonating her!

You know... I just thought of something... if your Beetles don't have the Rear Fogs installed, or do not have the OEM rear fog harness, perhaps the rear fog LED in the switch does not light up because it does not have a circuit to complete?

Similar to the Headlight vs DRL thing: they do not share common circuits, which is why you can disable the DRL without disabling the "regular" headlights.
