Hello and welcome. Your post is a bit all over the place. So let's try to get some details if possible.
What is the item you need to power?
Where will it be located? (More specific than headliner, pls)
Will the object need switched (pwr w/key on only) or constant 12v?
What's the power consumption of this object?
All of these things should be taken into consideration if you want to do this in a lasting SAFE way. Also there aren't any "other" fuse boxes around the beetle. What you may be thinking of is a control module or just a connector. In general it's always a good idea to run accessory electrical items to the fuse box as to avoid overloading a particular circuit.
