I'm working on my sister's beetle that refuses to keep running for more than about a second or two. I checked for codes with a friends code reader. It was throwing a Engine Speed Sensor Code P0321. I replaced the crankshaft sensor (the one by the dipstick and tranny) It still refuses to be fixed! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You need to change the engine speed sensor.

Hmmm...I guess I was mistaken when I was informed that the (G28) is the same as the camshaft sensor I replaced. Do you happen to have the part number and location of that part? If you do that would save me a load of time!
Thanks

The cam positioning sensor on a 1.8t is on the end of the front cam inside the timing cover, the 2000 Beetle 1.8t APH engine cam sensor part number is: #0 232 101 024.
