Loooookin gooood Gina! How do those inserts install?
It's Rock Creek Park in DC :)

chris, they're almost like stickers, but better. You peel them off and position them, then just place them on. I rubbed them down with a q-tip to make sure they were stuck on there real good. So far, they've survived against rain, snow, ice, and car washings, so they're not real flimsy like stickers are :p
Where'd you get the inserts from? I'd love to do mine in Cyber Green! Or perhaps the dakr green I'm getting my pinstripes in...
The new tailights look great Gina :)
Nice install job too.

Got them from Slug, I'm sure you could send him a PM and ask for them :)

captbp, thanks! They were actually a lot harder to install than I thought. Getting the old ones out was hard, and putting the rubber gasket around the new ones was even harder. Doing it in 30 degree weather didn't help either  It was all worth it though, I really like them!

Went out this morning and snapped a few new photos. Washed yesterday, but still needs a wax bad! Also way too sunny, you can almost see the swirls. At least you can finally see the tint though. You can see the difference up against the neighbor's house - nothing too drastic, but perfect for me :) enjoy..

Where did you get the tint done? I'm planning on doing a modest tint like yours someday, although maybe a bit darker. Did they do a good job?
I got it done at National Glass Tinting in Kensington, they did a great job! They guy Marc really knows his stuff, they've been around since the 60s I think. It wasn't as expensive as some other places around here, but doing research online, everyone is pleased with their work.

Spent 5 hours doing some spring cleaning on Pepper today. I washed, clayed, washed again, and waxed. I also put on the Trb stripes, but I did a pretty crappy install job. There are a few air bubbles, but you can't really see them unless you're up close. I think he's got potential for the Show&Go next month...assuming they have a NB class  comments?

Gina,

That looks so sharp, I love it!!

What is this clay, you are talking about!

John
Thanks Chris and John! :)

John, here's a link about clay bars http://www.newbeetle.org/forums/showthread.php?t=3622&highlight=clay
It basically a piece of clay, you lube up the surface with quick detailer and rub the clay over the car. Just gets all the nasties off the paint and makes it smooth as glass. I figure we're not getting any more snow *crosses fingers* so it was a good day to get this done.
Wilson? Trust me. If you look like Wilson, I must look like Rosie O'Donell!!! LOL!

Besides, Wilson's dead! (...or at least the guy who played him is!)

Cute ride!

:)
 It took me the longest time to figure out what you were talking about! I just meant since I was hiding half my face, not that I looked like a dead man :p
Gina, I love the new stripes on Pepper. You are doing some awesome work to your little beauty.:)
Mary:)
Thanks Mary, Rubie is looking awesome as well sporting the new tint :)
He looks superb. Awaiting pics of a great caliper job!
A little teaser pic of what I've been working on all day ;)
