Zymol! I've used it on every car I've ever had and they all have mirror like shine.....it's distracting actually. :D lol

Mirror, mirror on the wall......
Welcome mlegions!

I have been a big Meguiars fan. I use their Gold Class wax and also their quick wax. Their scratchX works well also if you got swirl marks.
Never used Zymol but I hold JB's opinion in high regard. I'd also suggest pretty much any Meguire's wax. Can't really ever go wrong with them. If you really want a great shine I'd recommend a good clay bar (Meguire's has a good kit) followed by some Meguire's cleaner wax.

Good luck!
NXT!

There's a thread just like this somewhere else. Someone wanna go searching? I'm stuck on this stupid page that James mentioned in Hoo-Ha

Ha... I can't knock him too much, we cover a couple of his songs. Sorry, off topic.
I'm a big fan of Zaino. When I first joined the NB email list and the forums, I heard much talk about it. Thought it was way too expensive, and was happy with what I had been using. But finally caved "just to see" what it was like.

One time sold me. LOVE the finish with Zaino. And haven't gone back.

However, I will say, the MOST important thing is the claybar process. No matter what type of wax/polish you chose, the best thing you can do is strip the old wax first, and claybar the car.
I love Meguires NXT wax. I've used it all last year and it's simply amazing. I like how Zymol makes hte car look, but it gets really dusty when you wipe the excess off and the look only lasts like a week. Sorry zymol, your good for pre-show waxing, but not for long term protection.

I just ordered some Klasse wax from Autopia carcare. I cant wait to try some real german car wax. :D
I swear by Nanowax and NXT. Both products are outstanding. Easy on and off too. I love that. I can't believe how the NXT transformed my badly faded '98 Golf into a new car. Looks better than new actually. Same thing with my '99 Beetle... the Nanowax and NXT gave the car the deepest shine I've ever seen on any car. It's 10 times deeper than when I purchased it new. I also swear by using a claybar too. It's a must if you want to get the best shine out of any wax. It took tar, rust spots and water marks off my '98. I also used it on the windows to remove some decal residue. My neighbors always talk about my cars and how good they look.
I love Mothers products. I use 'em all!! Loves me the Mothers!
Turtle wax Ice is incedible!!!!! it is new and makes a great finish. hubby used it on his vette. shine like no other...no white residue if you hit the rubber either
Meguiars NXT Tech wax, it is absolutely the best wax I have ever used.

I did a claybar job and finished up with this wax, it looks AMAZING.

SMG :D

I couldn't agree more! Used the stuff for years.
I use Meguires ScratchX (works amazing) and the NXT wax... combine the wax with a good claybar and you've got one shiny car!!!

NXT looks really nice on dark colours too... my Techno Blue still looks shiny after the Winter (I last waxed in in late September) and it doesn't fade away. Yes, it does cost more ($30+) but you pay for the quality.

I used to use Mothers and while I agree some of the products are top notch (Back to Black and their mag wheel cleaner), the Cleaner Wax (Carnuba) isn't as good as the NXT.

While on the subject of wax... if you want something really good for your wheels only, try wheelwax www.wheelwax.ca/products/10001.html, works awesome and you'll love it!
