Wife's car has been developing a growling noise. I have been thinking it's a wheel bearing, but I may be changing my mind. Did winter tires today, and when I was putting the summers on the rack, I noticed one tire was significantly worn. More on the inside, but definitely more worn all over than the other three. Unfortunately, I don't know what corner it came off of, but I suspect right front.

What are some causes that would give these symptoms (growling, one tire worn). Strut bearing?

Probably from the front, and probably a toe problem unless something is bent in the front end. Toe is really the only adjustment on these cars.

Strut bearing or bushing will not cause this.

Also recommend new lower control arms, ball joints and tie rods ends as well.
