Hello, this just started happening within the last few days on my 2013 beetle 2.5L Fender edition, non turbo. The headlights will both turn themselves off, whether I'm parked or driving. Turning the switch off then on again makes them work for another few minutes. Low beams or hi beams don't affect this problem in any way.
Additionally, when the headlights are turned on, the rear lights go on as well, but when the headlights turn themselves off the rear lights stay on. Somehow the problem seems to specifically be headlight related.
I went through every fuse related to headlights I could find and none are blown. I did see there's some kind of headlight control module behind the glove box, is that possibly a problem? Thanks for any assistance.
