Hello, I would like to ask if someone knows if there is a difference between 1.8T and 2.0 new beetle 2000 headlights?

My passenger's side headlight was stolen and somebody will sell me one but mine is 1.8T and his is 2.0, both are year 2000 new beetles.

I been looking on internet but can't seem to find the answer for my specific question. I'll be glad if someone is willing to help me.

I do not think so; I believe they are the same. You can search for the parts and compare the two part numbers, using Volkswagen's parts website here:

Ohh Thank you very much!! Indeed they use the same pieces. Mine is GLX 1.8 and it coincides with every 2.0 in headlights assy part numbers.

As far as I know they are both compatible headlights, the only car that has a different headlight from all the other new beetles is the Turbo-S. good luck

And what's the difference between Turbo S and Turbo? Because mine is GLX 1.8 Turbo.

Turbo S uses a different type of headlight setup. There are additional wiring plugs for the lights to work compared to the regular Beetles (GL, GLS and GLX).
