Hi, im Simon from England as you can see. just got my first new beetle last week(2001 2.0 canyon red).

Ive had several of the old bugs in my younger years which were mostly late 60s models.

Never seen that color over here. Love it.
I like the two tone look, have you thought of trying it with a darker color instead of a lighter one?
That dark red is sweet.

No doubt. Wrapping it is were its at. If ya dont grow to like it, you snatch it off down the road.
I want to do the same thing to my car.
I can see that deep red of yours with a dark charcoal or black wrap.
Kinda like a reverse of the Dark Flint edition.

I had actually thought of doing a deep burgundy color on the side of my car.

Something like this, but bringing it a little higher on the door.

Hi Simon,

Nice bug. Welcome to the ORG.

I agree with the wrap, you can always change it, if you want to.

I think the color is great and doesn't need any help.

I would look at rims to set that thing on fire.:)
