Welcome to the Org, Sterling is one handsome fellow! N00ber and I are from frozen MN! You are in good company in NC. 02SilverSport and ****** will be along shortly to welcome you. 02SilverSport heads up the North Carolina Beetle group, a New Beetle/Beetle club!

Dont forget to start a photo thread, looks like he like his pics! :)

OH, and you MUST join us for ToD in May. The first weekend of May us Beetles slay the Tail of the Dragon! Youll LOVE IT!!! :)
Thank you very much he's just about as needy as I am haha! I'll be close to MN soon I'm driving up to wisconsin the end of the month. Nervous about the drive.

Before him I had an 99.5 jetta 2.slow her name was Heidi. Had to let her go. She was no fun to drive at all.

What is tod?

Oh, good deal your doing that drive then, and not earlier.... I hope the drive goes well.

ToD = Tail of the Dragon. It is a road that winds through the Smokies on the boarder with TN. The stretch is 11 miles long with 318 curves. You will love it in your Sport and how it handles the corners!
oh right on. Yeah not a fan of driving in the snow. Haha. Good chance I'll be moving to wi this summer so i better get use to it. Tod sounds like it would be fun though I'll definitely look into it! I'll be driving through west virginia so it'll be the first time I'm driving him in the mountains. Actually the first time I'm driving a stick on the mountains. I think that's what I'm nervous about the most

Oh the snow isnt so bad, just the other drivers! ;) If you move to WI, we'll have to meet up with some fellow WI orgers go to a couple shows! I am jelly that you have a stick, I would love for N00ber to have a stick! WAY too much fun shifting by hand! I am sure you will do fine.

Oh I forgot to share the ToD link: http://newbeetle.org/forums/tail-dragon/61475-t-o-d-6-official-2014-t-o-d-thread.html We are hoping to have 60 beetles present for the drive!
I'll definitely check that out. Yeah sometimes driving a stick has its moments and advantages but sometimes I miss putting one foot up on the seat. Haha girl problems? Anyways the other day I noticed I got 31 mpg in city driving idk how that's possible but I did miles divided by gallons put in and got 31. Pretty impressive
Yeah!

Another NC New Beetle! And if you more to WI you will be in good company there as well.

Welcome to the Org! There are more of us Beetle and New Beetle folks out here than you might think.

The GTG (Get Together) at TOD in Bryson City NC (A little west of Asheville) is approaching 60 cars now and should be quite a spectacle. That is about the most fun you can have driving your car. The added bonus is you get to meet some really great folks who will become great friends and an invaluable resource for if you ever have car questions.

Welcome to the ORG!

You are in good hands here

T.o.D. + you + your Beetle = a super great weekend, with more cool cars then you can shake a stick at.
Not to mention hanging with the some really cool peeps that share the same passion as "you", for these little round cars.
I tried shaking a stick at all them T.O.D. beetles- it don't work. Darn near wore my arm out
