Hi!

New Beetle owner here. Had a 2000 for 3 years and just picked up a previously loved 2013 convertible. Looking forward to learning more about this car!

Finally! We've been waiting for you! :wink2:

Welcome to the Org, :wave2: and Welcome to the B12+ Convertible!!!
Welcome

Greetings and welcome to the club!

You are in the midst of some serious New Beetle folks down in Tampa. I am from Jacksonville and there are quite a few org members all around the state. We all get together on occasion for Bugs for Breakfast and we also travel to New Beetle events all around the country.

You will be in very good hands here.

Hellooooo TAMPA! mighty glad having you join the party. Lots of good tech & great people here.

It is incredibly cool having you here with your b12+. Your addition to the beetle consciousness continues the lineage of the beetle as well as our beloved forum.

I was raised in your nexk of the woods, in Brooksville..good ol Hernando County. By the way, they have a monthly VW meet at Coney Island Hot Dogs. Quite a few orgers from Tampa & Spring Hill attend. Hopefully, you'll get the chance to meet up with them- mighty good people they are.

In this multi-social media age, we've branched out with a newbeetle.org members facebook page. There's a link in my signature...you should join :)

Again, Welcome :wave2:

Thanks for all the replies! I've been more of a Miata fan for many years, but decided I needed a little more room. This was a completely impulse buy so I'm hoping to learn more about this model, and so far this forum has been great! Thanks everyone!
Welcome to the great and wonderful ORG! Many fantastic cars, people and answers lurk in this great land. If you haven't done so already, take time to fill in your profile and post a few photos so we can ORGle them!!

All good my man. Always good to have a "beetle enthusiast in the making" here. You'll find the group to be very informative as well as supported. We do shuck and jive here, but don't tear one another down...those fools get banned pretty quickly. So shine up your beetle, turn a wrench or two and get comfy.

Miata's are pretty cool. They're no 427 Cobra, but their size always put those to mind. Stacey David and His show, Gearz, kinda brought the Miata to Cobra status when He did a V8 conversion to one. Man that thing is a screamer.
