I need help from someone with expertise that I lack. I bought a small can solenoid replacement kit for my 90G TF60SN on the internet. I had a serious illness by the time the kit arrived, so I was not able to get to doing the replacement for about 3 weeks.

When I opened the kit, it had the six linear solenoids as promised. The only problem is that I cannot figure out which solenoid is which. The seller did not provide any information to identify the solenoids. I have contacted the seller and they will not help me. I would return the solenoids, but the seller only takes returns for 7 days after delivery. So, I am out about $200 if I cannot figure this out.

The original solenoids are listed as follows:
1. N92 (K1 Control)
2. N282 (K2 Control)
3. N90 (K3 Control)
4. N283 (B1 Control)
5. N93 (EPC)
6. N91 (TCC)

The new solenoids are listed as: EPC, C1, C2, C3, B1, TCC 133952 (the small cans) and TCC N91 133951 (the large can). The only replacement solenoid that I can identify is the TCC N91 because it is the only large can.

Is there anyone who can look at the picture I have posted and identify which solenoids are the EPC, C1, C2, C3, B1, TCC 133952?

Most people; that have successfully fixed their valve body, installed a rebuilt and professionally tested unit .

Otherwise, you should look at the 09G Aisin repair manual (The Japanese company AISIN; makes the transmission for VW/Audi/Skoda):

"TF60-SN, 09G, 09M.pdf"

Look at figure #9; for solenoid locations:

https://www.google.com/search?q=09G...l:&aqs=chrome..69i57&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

vw/skoda repair manual: "[ at_gearbox_09g_eng.pdf ]"

Look at page #73: plugs/solenoid locations

https://www.google.com/search?q="[+...]"&aqs=chrome..69i57&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

VW's Self Study Program; give you more info:

"[PDF]6-Speed Automatic Transmission 09G/09M Design and Function"

https://www.google.com/search?q=[PD...hrome..69i57.640j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Hopefully, this helps and gets you started. Thanks! :)

Thanks, billymade

Thank you for posting those resources. I will take a look at them. In the meantime, I found another seller of the same brand of solenoids. I have reached out to them for assistance with identifying the solenoids. Keeping my fingers crossed.
