Hey Guys, just got this bug, so far love it, I have been trying to tie up some loose ends to make the car issue free, but I seem to be going the wrong direction. Today I changed the horn( was not working and still is not working) and the temp sensor. Reset the check light, and THEN, the doors will not lock, either with the fab or button, I have no warning chimes, key or light. and the sunroof does not open now. This is the damnest thing I have ever see. Is there a reset I need to do?
What I have done is;
Disconnected the battery
checked every fuse
checked the 3 located on top of the battery.
Any ideas? I appreciate any and all help.

What scan tool are you using and are there any trouble codes?

Zurich, the only code was for the bad sensor that I replaced. The battery on my fab went dead, which I just replaced but have not tried on the car yet. But I do not know why that would make the sunroof stop working.

What is the battery voltage; will the car start?

I checked all the fuses. they are all good

Don't know the voltage, the battery we bought in FEB 23, yes, the car starts and drives. Besides what I have listed, everything else works.

I might have stumbled onto something. I did all the resets I found on YouTube, roll windows down with key while the hatch is open, hold in trip odometer and turn key on, disconnect the battery and touch the leads. nothing worked. I then changed fuses for the sunroof and locks. The fuses I took out were not blown, but they are probably original. the sunroof and locks now work. SO,,, I ma having the windows tinted tomorrow, When I get it back Tuesday I am going to replace all the fuses.

Sometimes those old fuses “look” ok but are not.
