Hi , can someone please help me identify this sensor and tell me if it could possible trigger a P0102 code (maf) . I am asking because the first time the cel came on, gave a P0102 code and I replaced the maf but the cel came on again after I drove it 20 miles giving the same p0102 code and that sensor is the only other one that I see that's on the air intake hose close to the throtle body . Any other suggestions would be greatly apriciated ! Thanks in advance !

That is the connection for the heating element in the PCV system. Here is info about P0102:

The problem could be a vacuum leak or in the wiring. Check the vacuum hoses, including the small diameter one on the passenger side of the engine that goes to the fuel pressure regulator. It often cracks or pulls off.

Update :

After me and my husband spent all night checking for leaks around the hoses , we finally decided to start from scratch again , meaning buying another maf sensor . We thought of that last because that sensor is only weeks old , but to our surprise autozone was able to pull out the purchase in their computer and notified us that the part had a year warranty and that we could just get a replacement ! So I didn't have to buy it again ! When we got home , we installed the new maf and the light disappeared !!! Thank God .. Lesson learned : a new part doesn't always mean a good part , they can be faulty like it was with the first maf sensor I purchased . Thanks for your help !

If your code comes back, try to tighten the terminals in the MAF connector on the cars wiring harness. Sometimes these terminals get loose and cause intermittent connections over the years with heat and vibrations.
