So Fluid is pouring out of the passengers side of the rack so I think it needs to be replaced. Chilton Service manual says I have to lower the Subframe to do this but I do not have a lift or engine hoist. I have a good amount of tools though and a nice floor jack.

Thinking I'm going to have to bring it for repairs, Or am I over thinking this job?

Two floor jacks would be better. and jackstands. Anyhow, the bigger the toolbox the easier the job.

If you have a Chiltons, you have a good guide. You probably don't need a lift if it says "lower" rather than "remove."

subframe

I believe you gotta lower the subframe down because it's mounted right on it. That means ya gotta remove control arms out of the way and maybe a few other suspension parts connected to the subframe. Keep us posted and a few pictures on how it turns out. good luck.
