I've had mine since 2009, over 10,000 miles.
Added an LSD at the same time, together they make launch time much more predictable.
But I drive a 1.8T

Did you have to grind the extra casting off the inside of the bell housing. And whats an LSD?

No, installed with out any grinding.
I'm unsure if its the same transmission case for the 1.8T
Wierd cause a friend of mine has the 1.8t and he had to grind down the extra casting around the edge of the housing. Anyone else have to.

I have that kit, and when it was installed there was no extra work that had to be done. It just popped right in.

And boy has it made a difference. I may have to consider installing an LSD at some point too. Yummo :)
Yeah my friend and i both have to grind down that extra casting ecs tuning says some housing have extra casting. They should disclose this so people will know and not have to pull the tranny twice.
