Hi,

I am rather frustrated by the 2012 new beetle for how difficult to change the signal light bulb on the passenger side. The cover plastic doesn't seem to be easily open without breaking anything.

The car is bought used, so no user manual with the car. Anyone had experience on how to change the bulb, or has the instructions from the manual?

Your help will be much appreciated!

You mean the front marker on the fender? I'll take a look in my manual and see if I can find anything out for you.

OK I just looked. Manual says nothing about the side marker light that is in the fender. They must want you to have a dealer do it. From what it looks like however, is you need to take some of the wheel well liner screws out to access the back of the light. This needs to be done with a torx driver but I'm unsure of the size. This is just a guess based off of what it looks like to me. Hopefully this is some help to you.
