I want Retro-type wheels (?) for my NB

Okay, so at Bugstock I saw that New Beetles can, indeed, have retro wheels and I would like them for mine. I am new to this "pimp you car" and I have no idea where to go. I have an '07 convertible - non-turbo. Currently, it has stock-sized tires and I have no idea what size that is or what that means, But i don't want to have to buy new tires - cause I just did.

So my question - does anybody in the club have these or know where I can get them? I would like to make mine cream and green to match my car so I know some painting will be involved.

If someone would be kind enough to explain to a newbie if these are wheels, rims, hubcaps, or a combo, so I do not continue to sound dumb, I would appreciate as well. I am in SoCal so if there is a dealer down here that has them so I can actually see them...that would be amazing.

You have pictured our fellow New Beetle friend, Tamikas car, Herbie Jr. Here is her profile, and she is also at Facebook with many of us.

Thank you so much - what a small world!
I will contact her and Herbie Jr :)
What did you learn??

I tried for several months to find those and gave up :(
just ordered the daisy rims today :)
So now that it is too late for me - still curious where you can get those rims?
found these a while ago, never did order them, they only come in one size, but when i found the 17 inch turbo s rims i had to get a set, but hope this helps, you will see a few rims, but the retro ones are at the bottom, here's the link:
Custom Wheels for the New Beetle
Thanks

Thank you for such a quick reply!! Wow that site is expensive --- I paid $112 per rim for the daisies
Thanks!
I believe the wheels on the Herbie are actually for a PT cruiser ( same bolt pattern )

Actually they look like the 65 and older beetle wheels which were Solid . where as most reto looking wheels, where peeps take the steelie and add a vintage hubcap look like the 66 and later wheels that had vented slots :) It's all in what a peep wants
You are correct - hubcapmike.com said they would fit the basic NBC black rim ,
But then I would have had to buy those too . I was told I wouldn't be
happy in the end . I'll post a pix next week when my car has her "new shoes" !!

but yea, i have seen the daisy style rims at many sites, but this was the only site i could find that had the beetle retro rims, dont know why, they look so cool and give the new beetle the old school look, perhaps i didnt google enough, lol, god bless google
ive seen the steelies with the chromed center and ring, but they dont look as good as the actual retro ones, here's a link to a photo of them:

AH the ATPs . they look good on a beetle hard to find . Honestly I never liked them much as the home made retros
You're right, there's links on my picture thread to the wheels we have. Which are PT Cruiser wheels. :)

I've talked to disneybug in PM, led her to the links on jegs.com. :)
Another option, which is different but old skool, too. Ronal AERO wheels.

Those are HOT :jawdrop:

Hi Disneybug, I love the name by the way.
