Instrument cluster need help

When I turn on my headlight switch my headlights turn on but my fog lights won't turn on. When the switch is on none of the lights turn on on my dash. When I turn on my brights there is a weird sound coming from the headlight switch. Any ideas on what could be the problem? This is bugging the hell out of me...the lights on the shifting console are on but when I I turn the headlight switch on they turn off. Very confused.

Could just be a bad headlight switch. I'd replace that and see if it helps.

I replaced the headlight switch and nothing has changed any other ideas?

So, the fog lights, DON"T work; when you turn and pull the switch on? I would get under the car and use a circuit tester, see if there is any power to the fog lights. I actually had; BOTH fog light bulbs burn out, so it could be possible the bulbs are toast! Some circuit and power testing; is in order and is a very easy way to verify the circuit it good! If you don't have a basic automotive 12V circuit tester; you can pick one up, at any auto parts store cheap!

After testing; if you find No, power?; then I would start checking fuses and look up the electrical diagrams; to trace things, until you find power.
