I have use the forum to help resulting issues with an 2003 VW Beetle Convertible.
Till the other day when multi-able issues. When I started the car cluster lights up and buzzer come on as normal but this time buzzer continue on as I was backing out of drive.
So I shut car off and wait a minute. Restarted it, the buzzer shut off like normal.
After that the fun began.
The convertible top will not go down.
The driver side window will not go down neither.
The four window switch in driver side door don't work any of the windows but the all window switch only works the passenger window and both back windows
Power lock only works on the passenger side door now with the remote.
Will all issues at once. I need some help going in the right direction.
Any help will be appreciated.

If everything dies in the drivers door; it typically is a break in the door harness (inside the black, ribbed, rubber sheath), the door lock module or the comfort control module. Check out these threads; for the typical problems and diy's for disassembly and repairs:

For the convertible top; not working, a number of sensors can fail and cause the system, to stop working or get stuck, etc. This would require a vw specific scan tool; to read the error code, that can tell you what specifically is wrong and most commonly, which sensor has failed.

For scan tools; check out the vag 401 or Foxwell NT500 on amazon or the Ross Tech VCDS. Hopefully, other members; who have convertibles, can give you some "reset" tips and other advice.

CAREFUL with the window regulator and door lock DIY. Coupes and convertibles are VERY different.

The glass does not need to be removed on a convertible or disconnected for door latch work, there are other challenges, but the window motor and regulator stay connected to the door.

If the master window switch does not work to open the windows, then the top will not open because the top needs to drop all 4 windows once the latch is released to then start the process to open the top.

Start by sorting the broken wiring in the door jam, then sort out the drivers window and then make sure the master window switch works.
