Hi new Beetle people. I just joined this forum, because I plan to keep on driving my 99 VW New Beetle (2L SOHC, 5 speed) until it can't go another mile.

I never dreamed I could tear apart my instrument cluster and epoxy the faulty blower motor speed control contactor AND put it all back together. Successfully. Thanks GatorBeetle. For some reason, this site would not let me reply to that particular thread with my appreciation.
Anyway, I suspect that I'll be back. I'd rather fix the car myself and learn something than pay hundreds of dollars and learn nothing.
