Greetings
I found a 2002 color concept (orange) in a junk yard and needing to know how to clean the blackish mold off the seats or avoid buying them ($30/Set)?
Are they salvageable?

I already got the floor mats, parking brake, arm rest and passenger bar out of it. Floor mats, parking brake and bar are good. Arm rest is Meh.... but serviceable.

I know that the front seats are interchangeable with my 1999 Golf GTI but do the rears?

Thanks in Advance

Assuming it has not really penetrated the top coat, believe it or not, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and a soft bristle brush. I use this all the time, but not as a regular cleaner, never had any bad reaction to using this on many different leathers.

Work in areas about the size of a piece of paper, scrub and wipe often with a moist paper towel.

I would take the supplies to the scrapyard and test it out on a part of the seat and see what happens.
