Hi new beetle team,
I bought last month ago a 2000 VW 2.0L beetle, before I bought it the first owner told me that nobody was able to start the car and was already 9 years that it was staying in the owners garage. They was unable the determine why the car doesn't turn on, so I bought it and took it to my home, I bought a brand new battery, put it in, the lights doesn't even come on, so I started to check wires, after 2 days running every cable I found in a lot of dirt, chicken bones and a lot of old mango's in the car at the top of the dash, the rats eat most of the cables, so I start repair every cable, after that the car started, I changed the spark plugs, ignition coil, spark plug wires, clean the fuel tank, changed the fuel filter, change the fuel pump, bought new camshaft positioning sensor, replace the o2 oxygen sensor, clean the injectors, changed the maf sensor, timing belt, water pump, timing belt, everything, but I still having problems, my vag com computer is giving me code p0300, p0304, and the car doesn't idle good, it's like losing electricity power, it comes and goes back, and the check engine comes when the car is cold, do you guys know if there some sensors or something that is causing this? Or a wire that could be damaged in the car? In the engine compartment every cable was ok...

Thanks billy, I wake this morning and clean the throttle body like you said, no succes, after 3 hours of troubleshooting, I decided to take the car and drive it for 1 hour, at 120 km, after that went to the garage back, and boem, no misfire, no check engine, it start working like new, I don't don't know what clean, or what was dirty, I took it on high way and start racing, I think all the dirt came out.

One question, someone here knows why the left door doesn't open with the fob key?
I replaced the door accurator and window motor, it doesn't open the door, even if you try to open it using the buttons at the door, only the passenger door opens, with the fob, when you press the fob 1 time, the lights outside the car flicks, but the driver door doesn't open, if you press it twice, the passenger door opens correctly, any suggestions?
