Okay so I just got handed down my dads 1994 Chevrolet Suburban C1500 2 wheel drive. I picked her up down in Texas and drove her back to Washington. I got lots of big plans for her but most of the big stuff will wait till I have shop space and money. I do have some small stuff that will happen still but as for now here she is. Tell me what you think.

I just spent a day and a half claybaring, and applying 2 coats of wax. It did wonders for the paint. The paint is definantly showing some ware and sun after 200,000 miles but no rust woohoo!

Next is restore all lights, and plastics, presure wash wheel wells, coat the wheel wells in some new protective black coating, and in the near future I might order all new trim and badges.

Big weekend! I got my exhaust installed. Its a Gibson factory style replacement with a better muffler and tip. I love it. Its got a nice mild tone and isnt loud. It is exactly what I wanted. I also found out why my stock exhaust sounded like crap. It had a pretty big hole right on the bend that goes over the axle. I also bought a new head unit so I can finaly listen to CDs again and its also Padora capable. Next will be a budget sub and amp install.

Okay so latest up date, lots of goodies and lots of anger. I bought a full set of speakers, I installed them last Saturday, that was all pretty easy and was worth it looking at the contition of the original speakers. Once I got those installed I picked up a sub and amp assymbly. The biggest pain in the ass was routing all the wires. All in all I am now very happy with my radio system and I did in on a budget. Now for the pictures(for some reason I lapsed on taking a install pic of the rear mounte celing speakres)

Okay finally here is the pics my friend took at the same photo shoot. Oh and thats me in the picture. One proud Suburban owner. Today I had to replace the wiper motor, while getting one at the Pick-n-Pull I got new wiper arms, a new rear fan controler, and an awesome 80s suburban emblem that I will be installing on my tool box to add to the collection. I was hopeing to find a gem of a cowl hood but no dice. I will keep looking tho

Thanks man. yeah those windmills are unfathomably big, I have a big project coming up when I get the Subaru back, I will be repainting the entire thing, with matte green spray paint, and maybe some graphics(keep that a surprise), then I will be doing a lot of simple greening to both the Suburban and Subaru. Once that happens I will be truck lining the wheel wells on the suburban. So lots of stuff coming up
