Bought this wrecked 2013 2.5 liter beetle from Copart this past July. 12000 original miles. Bought it having not been able to see it in person which was risky. Most of the time was spent working on straightening out the frame rails. Lucked out and found a cheap same year and engine beetle which the previous owner said needed a timing chain. So far the only parts I’ve purchased new have been oil filter housing, thermostat, condenser. Most everything else has come from the parts car. Although I’m needing to order a drivers headlight bracket as the donor cars is busted as well. It’s coming along nicely and here’s some pictures of when I got it and how it currently looks.
