Hello

i have new beetle 2.0 2001
and it goes slowly after 80 km ?
and when i go up hills the rpm go up and down and im not pressing the fuel pedal down it stays the same at 3000 rpm ?

please tell me how to fix it and return the power back

here is what i changed

Fuel pump
fuel pump filter
spark plugs air intake filter


am waiting for any help please

Check the mass air flow sensor, the vacuum lines. Are there any codes showing? How many miles on the car and has the timing belt/water pump service been done?

Have you scanned the car for codes? Is it an auto or manual? Has this been happening as long as you owned it or has it just started? How many miles on the car?

Cars with catalytic converter plugged up ALWAYS have trouble going up hills. Probably showing multiple misfire codes also, lean and Rich condition codes too.

Its automatic
and it happened maybe before 5 months
and i have changed all this but still slow
the car has 137000 km
and i scanned through obd code there is no faults
the water pump works fine and timing belt looks great
please help
