Hello everyone from an old timer...
Just wanted to say that Nounoursmobile will soon be 11 years old. And I still love to drive her every time, just like the very first day I bought her in 2002.
Oh of course we had a few tough days, but most of the time only fun and joy - and I hope it will still continue for many many years.
Just went to dealer today for the yearly oil change. Of course there were a few things to fix (one boot and link kit), but that's normal with an used car - and I make sure everything important is done without delay. Air filter was also replaced today and they also cleaned the injectors (I only have 75,000 km). Wow, the modest but very reliable 2.0 L is back in good shape as before - no more hesitations on slopes.
So just wanted to say that I'm still totally happy with my NB.
Also, I want to thank everybody here again for the help and sharing our experience about our NBs throughout the years. I hope this will continue at least another 100 years - NewBeetle.org forever !
