It's like a drug owning one of these cars! I picked up another today, it will be here soon. I was told the head gasket went so i'll have it checked out...I AM SOOO EXCITED!! All in including towing $250.

I hope so too, it is in such nice condition. I just got it home today, it has been raining really hard here for the last 3 days so hopefully tomorrow I can start on it. An I will take TONS of pictures....

I can't believe; how cheap, people are picking up these cars for! Man, cosmetically; that beetle looks to be in great shape! I guess; since many people don't or won't work on these cars... it is a boon for those of us who do! For your average person; repairing VWs is expensive... I can see more and more of these cars; ending up in the junk yards! The primary culprit; being timing belt failures/head gaskets/warped heads... I'm sure! :-(
