N10226601 Plug - Where does it go?

Found this plastic plug (VW p/n N102 266 01) laying on the ground and badly deteriorated, after I washed the car. Just wondering where it goes and if more that one us used? Thanks, Tom

I know what it is!

Its just the gray undercoating flaking off one of the belly pan hole bungs/plugs. The plugs are still there but now missing the undercoating. Now I know why it was so thin too. I spotted more that one doing this.
