need help/advice on a couple of oxidation areas on my dark blue pearl beetle glx

So the title pretty much says it all. I've been told I can repair this myself but I honestly don't know where to start other than just stand in that section in auto zone and hope that the advice that is thrown at me there is useful. Anyone have any ideas?
