An ABS light will be an issue with your brake system. The airbag light would be a problem with the seat belts or airbags.

I don’t think on a 2001 that the seat belt buckle is monitored, other than to indicate that you have put it on, which if you haven’t the “fasten seatbelt” light will just keep flashing and chiming. Even that will stop after couple of minutes.

If this is indeed an ABS light you need to scan your car with vcds, a wheel speed sensor is the more likely culprit to trigger an ABS light and vcds can tell you which one. If it is your airbag light vcds will tell you where the problem lies it’s that also.
