Look at MK4 exhaust on eBay the 98-05 new beetle and the MK4 Golf/GTI are the same car. Think of it like this the New Beetle is a VW Golf/GTI with a body kit.

New Beetle Exhaust Choices???
With all of the New Beetle 1.8T's on the road (mine is a 2000 1.8t), why are there so few performance exhaust choices? Or, am I just looking in the wrong places? Is it because the gains are minimal with an exhaust upgrade? I read that the largest gains are with the down pipe on the exhaust side and the exhaust is actually pretty good...true?
I ordered the upgraded down pipe kit and the O2 "L" adaptor but can't seem to find a cat back that meets my budget. It seems there are about 3-4 systems on the market and I'm not interested in spending 1/3 of what I spent on the car for the exhaust system, I'll build my own before I do that.
Any ideas for a decent cat back system for around $300 or less?
