New Beetle in North Texas

Last week I bought a silver 2003 New Beetle. It's in very good condition and only has 81K miles on it.
It's not quite perfect so I'll be working to fix it up a bit. I have already picked up some valuable information in the forums. I look forward to learning more.
I have not had a car that I have enjoyed so much since I sold my 1967 Beetle back in the early 1990's.

Welcome to the Org, :wave2: and Welcome to the New Beetle!

I find it so interesting when someone buys a 12/13yo car, and say "it's not perfect"......I have to remind myself that my car is nearly 15, and cannot be perfect! :D

But, she's perfect to me. :)

Congrats, and We Love Pics! :wink2:
Oh, I never expected perfection. I went over the car thoroughly before I bought it and was well aware of the imperfections.
In fact I am amazed at how well this car has been maintained and how well it has held up.
If this was any car besides a Beetle I'd probably just ignore the flaws. In this case I want to fix as much as I can because I really, really like this car and plan to keep it a long time.

That's the spirit:banana:
Props to you for your passion and desire to get your new-to-you beetle back to being tidy and happy.

Make sure you start a photo thread and chronicle the restoration process, as well as cool pics:)
