this is my first 1.8t beetle that i bought about a week ago. i have read that the n249 valve should read at 20/30 ohms. & voltage should be at least 12v.it has around 13.5-14.0 volts at idle, and with key off & unpluged the n249 has about 30.3 ohms & is working. the other one at the back of the valve cover has about the same ohms.but only around 8 volts and is not working.if i switch the second n249 to where the first n249 was connected it works.does anyone know why one of the connections would have 8 volts.i found this when i was checking out my dv which i think is bad.hopefully someone can understand all of these run on sentences & figure this out.
