Hi everyone. I found this site because my 17 year old fell in love with a yellow 2000 bug, 1.8L Turbo 5 speed. she saved her money , bought it and I taught her how to drive a stick. Had the car since Sept 2013

The car has 153K on it and so far so good, until now. where on the site can I ask for some repair help? just yesterday suddenly it wont start.

Where are you located? There are wonderful VW NB people all over.

You also may want to Google your area for an independant shop. Don't go to the dealer!

I am in Rochester NY. But what I was wondering is where on this web site do I go to start a thread and ask for help. I cant seem to find out how to do this.

Look under the section: Discussion - Technical
then pick the area, that relates to your problem (engine, trans, brakes, etc.)
