Hi all!

I'm new to beetle ownership having just got one for the girlfriend even tho I'm driving it all the time ATM!

It's a UK 1.6 and after around 10 minutes of driving the traction light comes on until you restart car. I've read it could be the load signal cable broken but I can't find it anywhere!!

Any help guys?

Many many thanks!!!!

Any fault codes? Here in the US, the 1.8T mk4s have a common issue where the O2 sensors can do bad, or the wiring for the O2s, and this screws with the 5V ref signal for the throttle body.. thus the EPC light comes on, lack of power and other fun games. Cycle the ignition a few times and it can be back to normal. There tends to be DTCs for the Throttle Body when this happens.

"Load Signal Cable"..... eh, bad phrasing. Sure, the MAF is used to help calculate a "load signal". Where did you read/hear of this "load signal cable"... it is a bit of a jiberish phrase.
