My girlfriend's 2000 Beetle is not blowing any air from the A/C. I checked all fuses on side of the dash, but none were blown. I checked the three green fuses on the fuse box on the batter, and none of those were blown either. It has always acted a little funny but it always worked. Does anybody have ideas to try?

Did it make any grinding noise, like a fan dying prior to stopping to blow?

If so then I'd guess that your blower motor seized up, like mine did a few years ago.

You can actually visually see if the blower is not running by removing the cabin air filter from inside the dash. Looking down you should see the motor. Just look, do not put your hand or any object down there to try and get the motor turning the blades are very sharp and will blend your hand into a meat slushy if it does start to turn.

Look at my thread. it's fan switch does nothing. It walked me though everything and it ended up being the blower motor for me. It could also be the switch or resistor that's under the blower motor.
