I have been looking for recommendation on OB11 reader, all the stuff in this forum seems old.
One mentioned Vgate but the post was so old they don't have that model anymore.
2008VW 2.5L convertible.
Basic reader is all I need.

OBDEleven, has recently changed; requiring a annual subscription plan; so, keep that in mind, adding long term cost to using the tool.

As far as i can tell; the VR800 isn’t VW specific? e.g. “works with European vehicle after 2000”….

I know that why I thought I would ask if someone had used one and was happy.
I ended up order this one, Vgate VR800 reviews were good

Let us know how it works for you; i don’t know if it has advanced features, like a vw specific scan tool would.
