Is it a common practice to disconnect oil pressure switch and connect the wire to ground? (See pics)
I purchased a 2003 new beetle convertable from a small dealership in 2018. It ran good for a few years, then left me sitting along the highway over an hour from home.
Found out that the camshaft was broke and it was covered in dried carbon or oil (see pics)
Oil and temperature lights never came on.
I replaced the engine and wondered why there was a ground wire on the air injection pump.
Does anyone know where I can get the connector to put it back on the oilI pressure switch?
