Hello everyone! here are some pics of our '74 Super Beetle, which we are restoring. The high school kids here at BOCES (those members who live in NY know what that means) did all of the body work & paint job (PPG basecoat/clear coat), painting it the original color (Rallye Yellow; L10A). I think they did a great job!

And here are some pics after the new headliner was installed & the original glass re-installed with new window seals & molding; this is what it looks like now:



So,what do y'all think? You like it? Lol....

Thank you very much Deb!;) Next thing to work on is rebuilding the engine!:D I only had to pay for paint & materials, which was only $1350; compare that to $3000-$4000 plus if I had a regular body shop do it!

My first VW (back around 1991mI was still in the Army and just before I got married) was a sky blue '74 Super (Beetle),loved that car! Can't wait to see more :D

The Sportage is my daily driver; the '74 isn't done yet...;)....now more $$ can go towards the '74 since the Kia is all paid off now! w00t!
