I am trying to figure out which of the new beetle shades of yellow is the one I like. It's not the super light one but one a bit brighter than that - does anyone know which year that might be or what the colour might be called please?

Those are the proper names. If you click the link he posted, you'll find examples of all the colors, as well as the years they were released.

Thanks, I missed the link entirely - first time on a forum and it's weird. The link says those are US colours - do you know if there is any difference between US and canadian colours?

No difference. I guess we should say they're North American colors. But Mexico MAY have a couple different shades? I know they did have a model available we did not. But America and Canada's colors are pretty spot on. Sorry 'bout missing the link; hope you didn't think I was pokin' fun at the new guy; I was just bein' a dork.
