hey y'all!

i've had this strong wish for a long time and i'd like for you all to tell me if this really can be done. (i know Sweden really hates me because of this idea but... here i go)

i have a 2.0L New Beetle, i loved it at first, but as i went on driving with it, i grew completely tired of it, because:

1. it's really slow (i'm a passionated racer guy)

2. it has no CD-player, just cassette player and a bad radio.

and i've seen a whole lot of these movies and TV-shows which wakes up the desire i have.

you see... i'd LOVE to custom build my New Beetle to be a legimate race car, but ALSO... keep the street features left so i can use it for daily driving. a road legal racing bug is what i really want.

but... like i said, the whole Sweden hates me for this idea, they tell me it's not possible at all since i can't get through the MOT-tests, it needs to fit in the emission requirements and also not exceed the loudness limit, they tell me to stop thinknig of this, it's too damm expensive they say, you will never be able to build something like this "stop waste your ****ing time on it you childish brat!"

i need some navigation through this: is it really possible to build a New Beetle for racing purposes and still keep it as road legal as possible?

be honest on this now, i don't mind a few tears if you all agree to the Swedes.

swap engine to 18t . . . upgrade to big turbo (ball bearing I suggest) fmic, injectors siemens 630cc, fuel pump, 4bar fuel regulator, exhaust 70mm from down pipe with custom made final for low noise, custom remap etc etc of course you will need new bigger brakes, suspension and maybe a clutch. . . if you will to do all this you will get around +300hp without opening the engine. . . if you go deeper like pistons etc etc I've seen 18t 20v with +500hp. . . if this is not enough swap to R32 and hit the twin turbo . . . you will see +700hp. . . youtube it and check for these mods . . .
Do not take this as a recipe cause there are a lot of things to do and different setups for different pockets and demands

thank you so much, it's not an recipe, that's correct, but at least i got a confirmation that it is possible if you have the willpower. (which i have)
