Hi again:
2006 Nu8Beetle 2.5 litre. After completing repairs involving the oil filter cooler assy (earlier thread)I had to have the car smogged. As the battery had been disconnected, I had several monitors Air, Evap, OS2 not reset, so although it passed the smog test without difficulty, it would not pass due to the monitors. I pulled the drive cycle instructions from the web and have driven 100 miles per instruction. I now have a check engine light and show a single code PO118 (hi temp engine sensor). This may be two separate problems but until I can clear error code and monitor errors, this car is not going anywhere. Thoughts?
Thanks, Bruce

As always'BILLYMADE' you're a lifesaver. The ability to go to a "go to" guy like you and others makes wrenching enjoyable and money saving to the max. How you ever get any work done (with 11,000 plus posts) is a mystery to me, but don't stop. Your advice was dead on and now my NuBeetle is on the road again. Much thanks.
