Hi all,

Any suggestions for protected the underside of the front bumper? I have a '99 New Beetle where I've scraped the bottom edge of the front bumper a few times entering steep driveways. It's just cosmetic damage, but the black scratches really stand out against the cyber green paint. Is there some protective rubber trim that can be added to protect the paint on the underside lip of the bumper? My wife's Acura has a nice black rubber strip along the bottom end of the bumper. I want the black rubber to be scratched up instead of the cyber green paint when I bottom out. It won't be so noticable Thanks!

There's not a dang thing you can do, aside from slowly entering steep driveways, or a lift-kit. ;) My '02 got the driveway rash on the second day of ownership. :( Beware of parking curbs, and sidewalks, too, for your running boards...... :scared:
