I just had a new thermostat installed on my wife's 2002 NB (2.0, AT). Now it has developed a coolant leak. I do not know where it originates as I can see no leakage around the resevoir or anywhere on the engine proper. I do see that there is fluid (presumably coolant) coming from the area under the car, on the passenger side, where four tubes/hoses exit a channel in the molded plastic undercarriage protector. I can find no mention of what these four hoses are or what they are for. I can not find their starting point either. There are two white ones, one black one, and a blue one if that helps. At the point where they exit the molded channel there is a rubber/foam piece. That is where the fluid is dripping from. Can anyone help me to identify these hoses and where the leak may be coming from? Oh yeah, I just noticed that the power steering fluid seems to be leaking as well. Are these things connected?
