just bought my wife a 02 NB
the previous owner did not take good care and there are few problems

the first problem is that 2 of the 3 power outlet do not work (only the one in the trunk works).

Maybe it's a fuse.
Maybe they took the center console off at one point and forgot to hook them up.

Yes, a very easy DIY. But you might want to get a Bently repair manual for the vehicle before you get started.
