Just installed an aftermarket radiator in my 2001 1.8L Turbo and find that the OEM radiator hose mount and hose connects are of a larger diameter than the aftermarket hose mount and therefore the new radiator is leaking. Tried installing the book listed o-ring on the new radiator hose connect, but can't get the spring clip on the quick connect to lock. The OEM set up did not have an o-ring and the seal was tight. Are the aftermarket hose quick connects smaller in diameter as well to match the smaller diameter mounts on the radiator side?Anybody else run into this and a way to correct it.
